When I was starting to write my exploratory essay, many thoughts came in my mind. Nothing seemed more relatable then writing about my home country, Bangladesh. The research question of my exploratory essay was, should textile buyers continue importing clothes from Bangladesh? The title of my essay is “Choosing Between Safety and Money: The Dilemma of Bangladeshi Garment Workers” which represents what I am going to talk about in my essay. I have included information about what the situation is about. Thinking about the hunger of European and Western companies getting clothes faster and cheaper, creating job opportunities for the people of Bangladesh made me explore more about this topic.

There are as many positives as negativities of getting clothes imported from Bangladesh. Positive side of this is that the big merchandise brands gets clothes much cheaper and quicker, another good thing about this is that the big companies creating more job opportunities for the Bangladeshi people. The negative effects of these are lack of fire safety of the factories. Another negative affect is playing the workers much lower wages comparing to the amount of money the big companies are making. These are the main reasons why my topic is debatable about whether the textile companies should continue getting clothe supplies from Bangladesh. I have used four sources and one visual text to support my evidence which are properly quoted or summarized. I have listed my citation and my essay concludes by summarizing the main topics of the essay.
