Prominent Faculty and Alumni

Since its establishment as a land-grant institution in 1868, OSU has enrolled nearly half a million students, and thousands of faculty and staff have served the institution. Throughout that history, many OSU faculty and alumni have served as leaders at the local, regional, national, and international levels. Faculty and alumni have been prominent educators, inventors, industry, military and government leaders, entertainers, and world-class athletes.
